We were recently asked to tender for the installation of a platform lift solution to an exciting new development at Bodington Sports Pavilion in Leeds.
There has been an investment of £5 million in the sports ground which includes a refurbishment of the sports pavilion and a huge 1.6km road cycle circuit. This innovative transformation will be used by staff, students and the wider Leeds community, offering support services to GB athletes.
We won the bid to complete the installation and as a company, we were very proud to be involved with such a brilliant project.
Working alongside the main contractor to ensure everything went to plan, our engineers quickly got to work and installed a 2 floor platform lift. The full install was completed and commissioned in just over a week to the delight of our client.
We received fantastic feedback from the site manager who expressed how happy he was with our engineers and the work practices followed.
The complete refurbishment of the Sports Centre is expected to be completed this Spring. People of Leeds, get your bicycle helmets at the ready.
