New Platform Lifts in Durham

We have just completed the installation of two new Platform Lifts at Wolsingham School in Durham. We have worked closely with local contractor Robertson Construction of Gateshead on this project ensuring we started and completed our works on time, with the Platform Lifts being installed within 5 days. We installed a 2 stop 410kg platform lift in the existing building and a 3 stop 410kg platform lift in the new building. The link between the buildings (between old and new) looks fantastic and Robertson and all concerned have done an excellent job on this fantastic school in a lovely part of the North East.

Our Platform Lift range is a modern open protocol solution that offers our client a reliable and eco-efficient Platform Lift for their building. We are very proud to be involved in this project and to be working with both the client (Wolsingham School, Durham) and Roberston Construction (Gateshead).

Platform Lifts are an excellent disabled access solution for clients as they save space by being installed within their own enclosure (no shaft required). They also need minimal headroom and no lift pit, saving the client space and money on lift shafts, electrical work and builders-work. Platform Lifts are also very eco-efficient (Rating A), look modern and can run on a single phase 20amp supply.

If you are looking for a new lift installation, whether a platform lift, step lift, goods lift, passenger lift, service lift or even a bespoke lift, why not contact us? We can also offer lift maintenance, lift repairs and lift modernisation / refurbishment services to all of our customers in the North and Midlands.
