Following a rigorous regime of PLAN-DO-CHECK-ACT, UK Lift and Escalator Company Ltd were ready to be audited for the combined 3 standards of
ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007.
The external compliance audits took place over 6 days, checking the whole of the business systems and management from planning through to operation and delivery. This involved office and paperwork audits, but also site visits and customer meetings, so a real in depth test that we actually do what we say we do!
At the end of the 6 days we were praised on the detail and work put into making a quality management system work in practice, and we are happy to announce we were given a full PASS without any actions!
We will continue to work to this process and develop further, ready for the follow up audits and gold stars!!
