UK Lift & Escalator Company Ltd are proud to announce that we have recently been re-assessed for both CHAS and SafeContractor accreditations and have passed our inspections with flying colours! Both CHAS and SafeContractor accreditations relate to safe working and health and safety, both of which we take very seriously. We also hold Constructionline and are members of the European Elevator Association too, which compliment the core values of our company.
Every single job that we undertake, whether it be a new lift installation, lift modernisation, lift repair or traditional lift maintenance visit is subject to site specific risk assessments and method statements. These measures ensure that we can work safely on all makes and models of lifts, and minimises the risk of injuries to our engineers. All of our engineers undertake regular health and safety training, and attend regular ‘tool-box talks’ to keep them up to date with not on health and safety regulations, but also standards within the lift industry and associated topics.
