UK Lift & Escalator Company Ltd – Lift Maintenance – Newcastle

We have recently been awarded a prestigious lift maintenance contract for a Grade 1 listed building in the heart of Newcastle city centre. The equipment on site was not being maintained particularly well and as such, was suffering from a number of problems that were causing excessive and often repeat breakdowns. This was costing the client not only money, but a lot of inconvenience and having a negative impact on their business when trying to move goods and people around the building.

After speaking with us, we recommended a maintenance plan that will likely reduce breakdowns and call outs, due to our traditional lift maintenance methods. Following the first lift maintenance visit, we provided our client with a list of remedial works split down into 3 sections using our unique ‘traffic light’ system; Section 1, highlighted red, details work that needs to be carried out immediately, section 2, which is amber, identifies items that can be budgeted for in the short to medium term, finally, section 3, which is green, highlights other items that we have recommended.

Following our discussions with the client we were instructed to compete our recommended works which we completed on time and on budget, using open protocol parts. This allowed us to leave the lift in service and as such the users of the lift have gained confidence in the equipment due to vastly improved dependability

This is another example of how UK Lift & Escalator Company Ltd provide an excellent service to all of our clients – Reducing call outs and breakdowns on all equipment, increasing service levels and response times and saving our customers both time and money!
