UK Lift and Escalator have just completed a lift removal and installation project with Churchill Community College.
The job had to be planned in to minimise disruption during the half term break.
The work started on the Friday, with the full removal of the existing platform lift, followed by wall and ceiling removal which was carried out by our sister company UK Facilities Management.
After levelling the floor and wiring in a new isolator, the pad was ready for the install to commence on the Tuesday morning.
Following install and commission, the facilities team returned to make good the walls and carpet, and with a refresh on the painting, the unit was handed over at the end of the week ready for the return of the students on the Monday morning.
