UK Lift and Escalator Company Ltd have completed another successful modernisation project, delivered on time and ahead of expectation for the client.
Gainsborough House had to operate on one lift for over 4 months due to a key component failure, UKLE attended with the design engineering team and produced a quick turnaround package, delivered to site within 3 weeks of order.
8 days later the lift was back in service with a completely new controller and shaft wiring package, new fixtures and complete clean down and service.
The ride quality on the unit is far better now, which the lift user will notice on the first trip, but aesthetically the lift looks and feels like new and will deliver years of good service to the building.
