We received a request from Keneth Peters, a firm of Chartered Surveyors based in London, to attend a call out at a lift that continued to break down at major high street retailer, based in Sunderland. Our lift engineer attended site within hours and quickly identified a problem with a faulty car gate switch, which was causing the breakdowns. We quickly sourced open protocol parts from a local lift spares supplier, and attended site the next day to fit these.
The lift was returned to service and has not failed or broken down since, giving the client a lift that is now reliable. This repair job is a good example of our first time fix policy, experience of our engineers and that all parts are open protocol and sourced from the UK (where possible).
