It’s the end of another week for our modernisation team, and this time we are handing over a 5 floor passenger lift following an intensive refurbishment of the electronic and control equipment. The lift also benefited from a full interior refresh, giving it a bright and modern feel, much improved from the original carpeted wall finish! A non-slip resin floor was also added, as well as a new car door reskin and set up.

This lift was unusual, in that it had automatic side opening doors on one side of the car and a manual door on the other! After a complete overhaul of the operating equipment, the smooth functioning and control of both the door and the lift in general has produced a much more reliable solution for our client. This allows our customer to maintain the passenger transit through the building.

UK Lift and Escalator staff were commended by the client for the full approach from start to finish, mentioning our ‘great communication’ and an on target delivery in less than 3 weeks on site!
