Here at UK Lift & Escalator Company Ltd, we pride ourselves on our rapid response times to all call outs, whether a breakdown or an entrapment. Our standard response times are 1 hour for an entrapment, or between 2 and 4 hours for a call out, although we often attend much quicker.

When our engineers attend site for a call out, they are not only tasked with diagnosing the fault (Doors, Floor Levelling etc), and returning the lift in to service, but also with investigating the root cause of the problem. Often, it’s only the symptoms that are treated, which leaves room for the fault to occur again and again, costing you time, money, and also the up-time of the unit.

As we investigate the root cause of the problem and deal with the underlying fault, this reduces the need for return visits and ultimately will save you time, money, and increase the up-time of the equipment. Due to the experience and qualifications of our engineers, we are often able to diagnose and fix faults on the first visit, which coincides with our first fix policy.

All repairs are carried out using open protocol lift parts, allowing you to work with any service provider in future, and not tying you in.
